1. What we collect

Account identifier and name. When you first open the app it creates an account identified by a randomly generated ID. We ask for your name so the app can address you personally; you can enter whatever you like, and it is not verified. We do not ask for your email address or phone number to use Baller Lab.

Player profile. Details you provide about yourself as a player — such as position, shirt number and kit colour — used to identify you in your clips and to tailor coaching feedback.

Video and images you submit for analysis. When you use Film Room, the app extracts a small number of still frames from your clip on your device and sends only those frames for analysis. The video file itself does not leave your phone. When you photograph a meal, that photo is sent for analysis. Frames and photos are processed to generate your feedback and are not retained after the analysis completes.

Location data. If you use run tracking and grant permission, the app collects precise GPS location while a session is active, to calculate route, distance and pace. Location is not collected when you are not tracking a session.

Fitness and training data. Distance, pace, duration, session history, and the coaching assessments generated from your clips.

Nutrition data. Food and meal entries you log, including barcode scans and photo estimates, and any nutrition goals you set.

Purchase data. Whether you hold an active subscription, which plan, and when it renews. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details.

Device identifiers. A device identifier used to associate purchases with your account and, if you enable them, to deliver notifications.

We do not collect your contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. Baller Lab contains no advertising and does not track you across other apps or websites.
